  • Position: Conveyancing Secretary
  • Location: Hounslow, Greater London
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Salary: £33,900
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Start Date: Immediate
What You'll Do:
  • Provide essential secretarial support to a Solicitor in the conveyancing department.
  • Utilise Microsoft Word and our digital dictation systems for accurate audio and copy typing of correspondence and documents.
  • Oversee case and paper management tasks including printing correspondence, collating enclosures, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Demonstrate excellent client care by sending out client care letters and liaising with existing and new clients.
  • Manage new client inquiries and efficiently handle incoming written and electronic communications.
  • Organise appointments, meetings, and maintain diaries.
  • Communicate effectively with estate agents, solicitors, and clients as needed.
  • Maintain accurate information in the firm's document management system and complete case-related forms.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, printing, and filing as required.
Who You Are:
  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Secretary is essential.
  • Proficiency in audio/copy typing and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities, including document and time management.
  • Familiarity with the conveyancing process and file management, both electronic and manual.
  • Knowledge of the Solicitors Code of Conduct and Anti-Money Laundering rules.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A flexible, adaptable, and quality-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivation and strong initiative with problem-solving skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability with an enthusiastic approach.
