Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is assisting a well-established law firm in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, to appoint a Conveyancing Paralegal for its busy residential property department.

You will support the Head of Conveyancing across a varied workload, progressing residential property transactions, communicating with clients and agents, and liaising with Land Registry, lenders, search providers and HMRC, while drafting documents and handling post‑completion work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a conveyancing department is essential.
• You should be confident dealing with clients and other professionals by telephone and email.
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise work in a busy environment.
• Accurate and attentive when dealing with documents and transaction details.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider property team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with using a legal case management system.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the progression of conveyancing transactions within the property department.
• Communicating with clients, estate agents and other parties involved in transactions.
• Liaising with the Land Registry, lenders, search providers and HMRC.
• Preparing and drafting relevant legal documentation.
• Managing post-completion work.
• Working alongside colleagues to ensure transactions progress smoothly and clients are kept updated.
