My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal with at least 1+ years of relevant experience to join their team in Mayfair, London. The successful candidate will need to speak Mandarin or Cantonese. This international and leading law firm is looking for a paralegal to join their real estate team in their London office. The firm has an impressive reputation, having been ranked in the Legal 500 UK. This opportunity will allow you to expand your legal experience among market leaders and may lead to a future training contract.

Your new role

In this position you will be part of the Real Estate team, supporting the real estate partner and handling work in planning and environmental, development, investment, asset management, funding, construction, landlord and tenant, and dispute resolution.

You will be responsible for
  • Drafting legal documents including leases, transfers, deeds, and licences.
  • Providing support to fee earners on a varied caseload under appropriate supervision, which may include reporting on title, reviewing legal documents, and preparing client reports.
  • Taking instructions and advising clients on progress.
  • Liaising and negotiating with solicitors on a daily basis.
  • Preparing SDLT and Land Registry applications.
  • Arranging execution of documents.
  • Managing own caseload from file opening and receipt of instructions to matter completion, billing, and file closure.
What you'll need to succeed

You must be organised, have excellent attention to detail, be IT‑literate, and possess outstanding communication skills. You also need to be able to build rapport with clients, who are the central focus of this firm.
