Overview

A Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Paralegal is required for a progressive practice located close to Leatherhead in Surrey. The successful Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Paralegal will have a minimum of 12 months experience in assisting fee earners with a caseload of residential property matters. This is an office based role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist fee earners with residential conveyancing transactions
  • Manage ID checks, client documentation and searches
  • Liaise with clients and support case progression
  • Help improve efficiency and client experience
  • Perform general administrative duties across the department as required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in residential conveyancing
  • Either be a Legal Assistant or Paralegal specialising in Conveyancing
  • Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literacy will be a pre-requisite
  • Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • A team player who is equally comfortable working on their own initiative
  • Is personable, pro-active and detail orientated
