Conveyancing Assistant

Hours of Work: Full time

Location: Stockport

Purpose of the Role

This role provides direct support to the Head of Residential and the wider department to ensure the team operates at maximum efficiency. The successful candidate will assist a Senior Fee Earner within the Residential team, using initiative and excellent organisational skills to facilitate the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties via telephone, email, and occasionally in person, providing clear advice and assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the case management system and relevant third‑party portals.
  • Ensure clients and introducers receive an excellent level of service at all times.
  • Prepare documentation required throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Produce completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices.
  • Handle post-exchange matters as directed by the team manager.
  • Manage completions on the day of completion.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team and assist other departments where needed.
