This full-time position requires the candidate to support the Head of Residential and help streamline daily operations within the team. Key responsibilities include managing communications with clients, handling documentation, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Qualifications

  • 2-4 years' experience as a Conveyancing Assistant in a Residential Conveyancing department.
  • Previous experience in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties.
  • Manage the collection and chasing of documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in the case management system.
  • Ensure excellent service for clients and introducers.
  • Prepare documentation for the conveyancing process.
  • Produce completion packs for the accounts department.
  • Handle post-exchange matters as directed.
  • Manage completions on the day of completion.
  • Provide general administrative support.

Job description

Title: Conveyancing Assistant
Hours of Work: Full time
Location: Macclesfield

Purpose of the Role

This role provides direct support to the Head of Residential and the wider department to ensure the team operates at maximum efficiency. The successful candidate will assist a Senior Fee Earner within the Residential team, using initiative and excellent organisational skills to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties via telephone, email, and occasionally in person, providing clear advice and assistance.
  • Manage the collection and chasing of documentation, ID, mortgage offers, and searches.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the case management system and relevant third-party portals.
  • Ensure clients and introducers receive an excellent level of service at all times.
  • Prepare documentation required throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Produce completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices.
  • Handle post-exchange matters as directed by the team manager.
  • Manage completions on the day of completion.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team and assist other departments where needed.
