Reed in Wallington, Surrey is seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our Conveyancing Department. You will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions, providing expert legal services to clients.

The role requires proven conveyancing experience, strong knowledge of property law, excellent organisation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a professional, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEx with conveyancing experience.
• Experience handling residential and commercial property transactions.
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Manage re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
• Deal with new build purchases and shared ownership schemes.
• Conduct title checks and searches.
• Draft and review contracts and other legal documents.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and others in conveyancing.
• Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients.
