Conveyancing Assistant – Post Completion | Whitchurch, Hampshire | Part-Time (flexible working hours) | £13.85 per hour

Our client is a long-established, family-run law firm based in Hampshire, known for providing clear, practical, and solution-focused property advice. Combining traditional values with a proactive approach, they help clients move through the conveyancing process with confidence and ease.

They are now seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy and friendly team on a part-time basis (2 or 3 days per week).

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience working within a conveyancing department, ideally with a focus on post-completion work
  • Strong organisational skills and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and clear communication when liaising with clients, solicitors, and estate agents
  • Confident use of online portals and familiarity with Land Registry and Companies House processes

What will your role look like?

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth and compliant handling of post-completion processes within residential property transactions, including:

  • Submitting applications to HM Land Registry and responding to requisitions
  • Updating online portals with accurate case progress information
  • Assisting with exchange and completion procedures
  • Submitting filings to Companies House
  • Managing leasehold post-completion tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with lender requirements and closing files, including archiving
  • Communicating with clients, estate agents, and solicitors by phone and email

What can you expect in return?

  • Part-time hours – 2 or 3 days per week (office-based)
  • Salary: £25,750 per annum (FTE) / £95 per day
  • 20 days holiday (pro rata)
  • Christmas shutdown (not taken from annual leave)
