New Build Conveyancing Assistant – Yorkshire Law Firm

Location: Harrogate. Experience: Minimum 6 months in conveyancing (new build experience preferred)

A well-established Yorkshire law firm is looking for a New Build Conveyancing Assistant to join its Harrogate office. This role involves supporting a senior fee earner with new build conveyancing cases and offers clear opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Opening and managing new build conveyancing files using the Case Management System
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records throughout the transaction
  • Assisting with contract preparation and issuing on new build sales and purchases
  • Communicating with developers, lenders, clients and estate agents to progress transactions
  • Ordering searches and handling post‑exchange paperwork
  • Supporting completion processes including mortgage reports and post‑completion administration
