Job summary

Hastings Direct seeks an experienced Optimization professional to lead end-to-end experiments, manage the Optimisation Roadmap and translate insights into conversion-focused strategies. You will leverage PowerBI and Snowflake to analyse performance and drive business outcomes in a high-volume ecommerce environment.

The role demands strong UX understanding, rigorous testing, and cross-functional collaboration to shape market-leading customer experiences and new propositions for our insured

Qualifications

• Experience in optimisation and experimentation with a track record of commercial success in a high-volume ecommerce business.
• Experience with data platforms such as PowerBI and Snowflake with a solid understanding of commercial performance.
• Data-driven digital marketing professional focused on evaluating qual and quant data to drive conversion-centric strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery in experimentation, including prioritisation, managing the Optimisation Roadmap, requirements gathering, test briefing and sign-off with stakeholders, measurement and next steps.
• Maintain the Optimisation Roadmap and track activity, hypothesis creation, outcomes and apply across the organisation.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis and stay abreast of industry best practice.
• Drive continuous process improvement of processes covering insight-driven ideation, prioritisation, UX execution, QA and reporting.
• Support development and delivery of new propositions and MVPs to the customer base.

Job details –you’ll need to have demonstrable experiencein:

• Working for the Optimisation team in Digital New Business & Renewals you will assist indelivering the strategy and KPIs which directly contribute to business objectives.

• Own the end-to-end delivery in experimentation, including prioritisation, managing theOptimisation Roadmap, requirements gathering, test briefing & sign-off processes withkey stakeholders, measurement and next step recommendations.

• Maintaining of the Optimisation Roadmap and tracking of all activity, hypotheses
  creation, outcomes and applying these across the organisation.

• Conducting regular competitor analysis and insights, staying abreast of industry bestpractice.

• Driving the continuous process improvement of our processes covering insight-drivenideation, business prioritisation, customer centric UX execution, robust build and QAprocesses and reporting, analysis and communications.

• In addition to our core Optimisation programme, you will support the development anddelivery of new propositions, and MVPs to our customer base.

Essential skills/experience:

• Experience working in optimisation and experimentation with a proven track record ofcommercial success working in a high-volume ecommerce business.

• Experience working with data platforms such as PowerBI and Snowflake together with asolid understanding of commercial performance.

• An experienced, data-driven digital / digital marketing professional focused on
  evaluating qual and quant data and turning this into conversion-centric digital strategiesand online experiences.

• The ability to apply knowledge of user testing and research and web analytics, includinguser segments and audiences, to the optimisation process.

• Hands-on experience of using one or more AB testing platforms – e.g., Monetate,
  Optimizely etc. Experience of client-side testing is essential and server-side testing ispreferred.

• Experience in user experience design and website content.
