Job summary

DS Smith in Fordham is seeking a Conversion Machine Technician L1 to support the Operator in setting and running machines, ensuring quality and timely output that meets customer requirements. Health & Safety is prioritised, with policies followed to keep everyone safe.

You will work as part of a team, documenting best practices, and taking initiative where appropriate. Experience in manufacturing and shift work is welcomed, with 12-hour shift patterns (days and nights).

Conversion Machine Technician L1

As a valued team member you will be asked to play a vital role in supporting the Operator in setting and running the machines, ensuring quality standards on all work produced and delighting our customers by producing high quality products in a timely manner. You will work together to ensure our work is technically correct and the right processes have been followed to achieve customer requirements. Health & Safety is our number one priority; an important part of the role is to work in line with all current policies and procedures to keep yourself and your colleagues safe.

Location

• Fordham, Newmarket on a 12 hour shift pattern, days & nights rotation starting either 06:00 or 18:00.
