Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for a days-based role at a nationally recognised manufacturer in St Ives, with very limited travel and a clear path for progression.

You will test, build and commission Robotic and Control systems in a fully equipped workshop, applying Electrical, PLC and Controls know-how to deliver robust automation solutions.

The salary range is £65,000–£70,000 with overtime, benefits and ongoing training to become a go-to technical expert.

Qualifications

• Electrical, PLC and Controls background.
• Test, Assembly, Build, Programming experience.
• Commutable to St Ives.

Responsibilities

• Test, Build and Commission Robotics / Control systems.
• Work in a workshop environment with minimal travel.
• Implement and maintain automated control systems for bespoke machinery.
