Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Controls Engineer in Knutsford to design PLC and PCB control systems, and to develop PC software alongside HMI interfaces. You will test, fault find, and commission systems, primarily from the office with occasional site visits, in a role offering clear progression into leadership.

Are you a Controls Engineer or similar with PLC programming and HMI Development experience, looking for a fully autonomous role where you will be recognised as the go‑to technical expert, working on exciting new product development, with clear routes to progress into a leadership role with continued company growth?
