Providers of specialist electrical control solutions, along with the manufacture, installation and commissioning of control panels. Part of a larger group, this expanding business is looking to expand their team with an experienced Control Engineer.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000. Benefits include 33 days holiday, overtime, pension, flexible working. Hybrid 3 days per week. Location: North Wales.

Control Engineer - The Role

• Writing or adapting code for PLCs and PCs to meet the specific requirements.
• Specification of the PLC and HMI from customer requirements.
• Commission and test the control panel.

Control Systems Engineer - The Person

• Prior PLC programming experience, ideally Mitsubishi or others via Structured Text.
• Working time is flexible, working from home to write software.
• Commissioning of equipment will be required on-site, minimal travel within the UK only.
• Expected to work additional hours including weekends as reasonably necessary for proper performance of duties.
• Requires a full clean driving license.
• Suitable for engineers with experience of Mitsubishi PLC software; others accepted if willing to transition to Mitsubishi with prior Structured Text experience.

Location: North Wales. Commute from Chester, Mold, Wrexham, Whitchurch, Oswestry and surrounding areas.
