A leading engineering firm in Leicestershire seeks a Control Systems Engineer to develop and manage control systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Control Systems Engineering, proficiency in PLC software, and experience with AutoCAD Electrical. Qualifications

  • HND of equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • Strong background in Control Systems Engineering - modifications & commissioning.
  • Good understanding of PLC software such as Allen-Bradley & Siemens.
  • Good understanding of AutoCAD Electrical drawing package.
  • Full UK driving license is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Developing existing control systems for current & future projects.
  • Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels.
  • Involvement in R&D.
  • Commissioning work before handover to customers.
  • Occasional attending site visits.
  • Providing support on installations when required.
  • Liaising with other departments to meet requirements.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met.
