Job summary

3 Sixty Resourcing is seeking a Control Panel Wirer in Milton Keynes to assemble panels, wire communication cables, and terminate field cables. The role involves working with electrical designers and project teams, with travel to customer sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of control panel wiring experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A 40-hour week and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years control panel wiring experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels in the workshop.
• Wire up communication cables, cable containment, wiring motors, controllers and sensors.
• Terminate field cables within control panels.
• Assist with site installations and read schematic drawings provided by electrical designers.
• Collaborate with electrical designers and project teams.
