A leading O&M provider in the energy sector is looking for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer for its Combined Heat & Power Plant in East London. This role requires expertise in maintaining control systems and instrumentation within a 24/7 process environment. The successful candidate will manage compliance with safety standards and lead engineering projects. An HNC in controls or instrumentation and industrial experience are essential. Qualifications
- Industrial experience in a 24/7 process or energy environment.
- Knowledge of EC&I standards, DCS systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience with outage planning, contractor management and SHEQ processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across control systems and instrumentation.
- Manage the site DCS, including alarms and logic changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
Skills
Industrial experience in a 24/7 process environment
Knowledge of EC&I standards
Experience with outage planning
Competence in maintenance management systems
Education
HNC (or equivalent) in controls, instrumentation or a related discipline
