Job summary

Talentmark is seeking a Control and Instrumentation Engineer for a well-established Glass Manufacturing organisation in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. The role sits within the Architectural Engineering team covering feasibility, specification, design, procurement, installation and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will deliver projects from design to commissioning, prepare specifications and drawings, manage procurement and contractor activities, and ensure safety, quality, budget and schedule

Qualifications

• Degree (2:1) in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng status.
• Experience in control systems, instrumentation and project delivery.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, problem solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver control and instrumentation projects from design through commissioning.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings and project documentation.
• Manage equipment procurement, installation and contractor activities.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget and schedule requirements.
• Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement.

Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join a well-established Glass Manufacturing organisationbased in Ormskirk, West Lancashire on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to jointhe Architectural Engineering team who cover all aspects of projects from feasibility, specification, design and procurement to installation and commissioning.

Salary: Competitive package based on experience, including 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pension and more.

Location: The ideal candidate will be located in Ormskirk or surrounding areas.
