Job summary

A professional recruitment agency is seeking a Control & Instrumentation Engineer for a 12-month contract in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, particularly with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs and documentation processes. This role requires strong familiarity with the Heavy Industry sector and involves working on-site five days a week at a competitive hourly rate of £45-£50, outside IR35.

Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Newcastle - 5 days per week on site

£45-£50 per hour (Outside IR35)

12 month initial contract

Essential Skillset:

• 10+ years experience working as a Control & Instrumentation Engineer
• Strong experience with full project lifecycle assignments involving Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC
• Familiar working within Heavy Industry (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries)
• Strong ability to create and review documentation (FDS, FAT and SAT)
