A leading advanced maritime technology company is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Havant, UK. We leverage our team's defence experience and technology expertise with cross‑industry partnerships in the field of advanced maritime engineering. Our market‑ready platform, VICTA, is an optionally crewed / payload‑carrying dual‑domain platform designed to operate at speed over range, capable of rapid transition beneath the surface to operate submerged, enabling the discreet delivery of effects within contested waters. It is a unique, innovative British platform focused primarily on the defence market but with utility beyond.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will develop and implement systems that power and control our maritime platforms and directly support teams of craft technicians. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of our products and places you at the forefront of advancing world‑leading maritime technology.
The role will primarily be based in the SubSea Craft office in Portsmouth, UK, with the requirement to travel to our Portland facility in Dorset during trials. Position may involve work in a manufacturing environment and at sea during trials; physical challenges may occur and require adherence to safety protocols.
Due to the nature of work, selected candidate must meet security requirements – existing right to live and work in the UK, BPSS, with security check likely for specific projects.
