A property maintenance company in Yeovil is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee site personnel and manage contracts in a social housing setting. The role involves ensuring contract compliance, budget adherence, and enhancing community value. Ideal candidates will have experience in responsive repairs, a relevant qualification, and a full UK driving license.
Contracts Manager – Location: Yeovil office, covering around Bristol, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. Typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours.
As a Contracts Manager for Novus, you’ll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to customers and the team every day. This varied role involves working with and managing a skilled team, within a secure environment with long-term contracts and opportunities to grow and learn. You will lead a small team of Site Managers delivering responsive repairs and void works in a social housing setting, ensuring contracts are completed to programme, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to health & safety of the operation team, the client, or the public. The successful candidate will be client facing and have extensive knowledge of responsive repairs and voids within a social housing environment, with the team delivering around 65 responsive jobs daily and 12 voids per week.
Alongside your contracts management skills, you’ll look for ways to add real social value to the communities and customers you work with. You will be supported by peers, the team, and management to solve problems and trusted to make decisions to grow and develop relationships and revenue.
