  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification required.
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) required.

Job Summary

Contracts Manager to oversee delivery of major infrastructure projects across Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridge. Provide leadership, drive performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of highways projects across the South East including Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridge.
  • Maximise financial returns and manage contractual risk.
  • Drive operational strategy and ensure compliance with safety and business policies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and support long‑term work bank growth.
  • Resolve disputes, manage risks, and ensure cash flow targets are met.
  • Promote continuous improvement and share best practice across projects.
  • Support and develop your team, driving engagement and performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Construction, Highways, and Surfacing.
  • Strong leadership and contract management skills.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
  • HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable).
  • Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and problem‑solving ability.
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
Desirable Skills
  • IT Data Management (highly desirable).
  • Pavers Machine Control experience (highly desirable).
