A local recruitment agency is seeking a Contracts Manager for a District Council in Tandridge. You'll oversee grounds maintenance services to ensure public spaces are safe and attractive. Responsibilities include monitoring contractors and reviewing event applications. The ideal candidate will have local authority contract management experience and strong knowledge of grounds maintenance. This is a hybrid role with an initial 5-month contract, potentially extending to permanent employment.
£17.66 per hour – 37 hours per week – 5‑month initial contract (potentially extending to permanent)
Location: Oxted – Surrey
Hybrid working: 4 days on site, 1 day from home (with greater flexibility once established)

As a Contracts Officer / Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the district's parks, playgrounds, allotments, and cemetery grounds. You'll ensure these public spaces are safe, attractive, and well‑maintained for residents and visitors, supporting the council's commitment to high‑quality outdoor environments.
