Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Security Contract Manager to join a leading security company based in Yeovil. This is a permanent opportunity suited to individuals with strong experience in static guarding, asset management, and proven people‑leadership capabilities. Ideal for candidates with experience supporting aviation, aerospace or large‑scale critical infrastructure environments.

As a Security Contract Manager, you will oversee the delivery of all operational security across a busy, high‑profile site. If you are a strong people leader who can drive service excellence, operational compliance and a culture of safety, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of operational site security, as well as the front of house team
  • Lead a large team of security officers and the front of house team in the delivery of a first‑class security service
  • Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
  • Staff training and development, with monthly reporting of progress
  • Rota management
  • Implementation of policies, SOP's, AI's, emergency preparedness etc.
  • Incident management and response
  • Safeguard various assets to include people, buildings and information
  • Assist with the long‑term strategic planning of the security function
  • Oversee the operation of security systems
  • Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
  • Conduct risk assessments and threat analysis across the estate
  • Ensure alignment with aviation‑sector regulatory expectations and site‑specific compliance standard
Qualifications
  • SIA Licence is advantageous, if this has run out, we can apply again, but you will need fulfilthe requirement to obtain this
  • Driving licence is essential
  • Experience of managing and leading a team of people
  • Security Management experience (Preferable)
  • Experience managing the delivery of operational security
  • A passion for service excellence
  • Experience implementing security strategy and policy - SOP's etc.
  • Experience of positively engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience working within aviation, aerospace, MoD, defence or other regulated/secure environments is highly desirable

Hours -07:30-16:30 (42 hours per week) - Monday to Friday
