Job summary

DCUK FM, part of Rentokil Initial, is seeking an Experienced Licensed Contracts Manager to lead licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal projects across the UK. Based in the South or Midlands, you will travel UK-wide and oversee on-site operations, health and safety compliance, and commercial delivery.

You will manage ASB5 submissions, provide quotations, plan work, and lead a team of asbestos professionals, with opportunities for progression within a global services group.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing and managing asbestos works.
• Client account management experience.
• Asbestos industry experience.
• Driving Licence.
• Motivated and resilient individual.
• DBS check may be required depending on role.
• Valid ARCA / ACAD Asbestos Manager qualification.

Responsibilities

• Submission of ASB5 Notifications.
• Provision of quotations for work packages.
• Preparation of Plans of Work, including risk assessments.
• Plan and resource projects - prepare project programmes.
• Resolving project level operational and commercial challenges and change.
• Manage competency of asbestos workforce.
• Maintain and manage sites, including subcontractors & suppliers ensuring procedures followed.
• Managing asbestos surveyors and analysts as required to suit projects.
• Ensure health, safety, wellbeing and environmental documents are compliant and updated.
• Undertake senior manager site inspections, audits and non-conformances resolved.
• Maintain asbestos and general training is maintained.
• Participate in senior manager engagement & safety meetings and actions.
• Liaise with industry trade bodies and disseminate information across the business.
• Providing regular feedback to the appropriate reporting level.
• Escalating and communicating issues at the appropriate reporting level.
• Maintain continual professional development.

We are currently seeking an Experienced Licensed Contracts Manager to join our dedicated team. You will likely be based in the South or Midlands, but comfortable with UK wide travel (other locations will be considered for the right person). You will play a key role in the safe and compliant delivery of licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal projects. Contracts Manager Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to company health and safety systems, procedures, the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and industry best practice. The role includes the management of on site operations, effective commercial management and preconstruction responsibilities across a range of asbestos removal projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Submission of ASB5 Notifications
• Provision of quotations for work packages
• Preparation of Plans of Work, including risk assessments in accordance with company safe systems of work
• Plan and resource projects - prepare project programmes
• Resolving project level operational and commercial challenges and change
• Manage competency of asbestos workforce
• Maintain and manage sites, including subcontractors & suppliers ensuring company procedures and processes are adhered to
• Managing asbestos surveyors and analysts as required to suit projects
• Ensure that health, safety, wellbeing and environmental related documents are compliant and kept up to date
• Undertake senior manager site inspections, ensuring that audits and reports are produced, non-conformances are resolved, and all parties are kept informed
• Maintain asbestos and general management training is maintained
• Participate in senior manager engagement & safety meetings, taking responsibility for actions
• Liaise with relevant industry trade bodies and disseminate relevant information across the business
• Providing regular feedback to the appropriate reporting level
• Escalating and communicating issues at the appropriate reporting level
• Maintain continual professional development
