Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced Contracts Manager to join our fast-growing, strong team.
This role would suit someone confident with a strong can do attitude, with cleaning and management experience willing to travel in and around Birmingham, including Warwickshire and Staffordshire.
Our normal working week is Monday to Friday. Your contracted hours will be up to 40 hours a week. Our working times start from 5am and finish at 7.30;pm, so flexibility and split shifts will be necessary.
The Role Includes
- Managing and controlling the cleaning services to the agreed specification, quality and service standard required by all contracts.
- Managing key clients / contracts
- Effective communication with clients including notification to site of site visits.
- Preparing weekly planners, and reports and updating client logs on a daily basis
- Promoting a safe working environment ensuring staff are all up to date on health and safety procedures
- Ensuring that all relevant training is provided to staff
- Being responsible for the operational performance of each contract and that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are in place and service delivery targets are achieved
- Preparation of Risk Assessments
- Identifying improvement opportunities
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Undertaking investigations and taking disciplinary measures if necessary
- Liaising professionally with clients as appropriate
- Being responsible for the recruiting, on boarding, training and development of new staff
- Completing electronic audits and actioning any issues in a timely manner
- Being accountable for making sure all sites are fully resourced and attended in accordance with the contract.
- Providing support, advice, and guidance on any operational issues that may arise
- Effective communication with the Office via the Office Supervisor
- Maintaining internal and external relationships
- Ensuring cleaning programs are implemented and reported
- Measuring sites to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reviewing targets and ensuring the completion of tasks ensuring KPIs are in place and being met
- Recruitment skills
- Be able to ensure processes are operating effectively
- Have good negotiating and conflict management skills
- To have a valid enhanced DBS certificate
