Organizations worldwide rely on DataRobot for AI that makes sense for their business — today and in the future.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our Legal team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, with a focus on NDAs, commercial negotiations, transactional support, and internal legal administration. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of commercial law principles.

Responsibilities
  • RFP Assistance: helping Sales and DealDesk teams with RFP processes and providing respective legal, corporate, and privacy information.
  • Drafting and Reviewing: Creating, vetting, and refining clear, legally sound commercial contracts (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, partner agreement etc.) to ensure they align with DataRobot’s objectives and legal standards.
  • Negotiation: Supporting commercial transactions by clear, objective driven negotiation of contract terms with external parties (clients, vendors, partners).
  • Execution: Overseeing the formal execution/signing process to ensure all necessary approvals and signatures are obtained correctly.
  • Contract Logging: Managing a centralised legal repository of all executed contracts, a centralised contract content log system, and associated documentation.
  • Collaboration: Serving as a crucial link between various internal departments (Legal, Sales, Finance, Procurement) to ensure all contractual requirements are understood and met.
  • Process Improvement: Developing and implementing automation for internal processes and procedures to standardize and streamline the contract management workflow.
Qualifications
Essential
  • 5+ years experience in a dedicated Contracts Management, Paralegal, or Commercial Legal function, focusing on commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrable experience in independently leading negotiations for NDAs, and negotiating commercial partner agreements.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the contract lifecycle and contract management best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate complex legal and commercial issues to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, and ServiceNow.
Desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., IACCM/World Commerce & Contracting certification).
  • Understanding of UK and EU data protection law as they relate to commercial contracts.
  • Proficiency with SalesForce and IronClad.
  • Written and verbal skills in an additional language are a plus.
