Job description

Sureserve Compliance Fire, is a specialist in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire safety and electrical systems, providing fire and electrical compliance and testing services. This covers a comprehensive range of physical infrastructure and safety considerations required for a building to meet regulatory requirements. As a leading fire and electrical compliance service provider to the Public sector, our success relies upon a market leading, engaged, and highly skilled team, for which we are always seeking skilled and self-motivated individuals to join.

Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
  • Successful management of on-site work and site teams ensuring supply of adequate and skilled resource in accordance with the Firas Scheme.
  • All aspects of safe working, complying with all relevant legislation creating a genuine and positive health and safety culture
  • Deliver operational excellence across all aspects of “doing the work well”
  • Responsible for receiving all orders from the client
  • Planning and co-ordination all aspects of the works including but not limited to programme, resource, management, Firas Contract in hand Portal, contract issues, supervision, administration, materials, supply chain and subcontract, ensuring that all are managed to ensure works are completed successfully
  • Maintenance of all project administration and documentation including, plans, minutes of meetings both internal and with clients which should be stored and filed on the server
  • Ensure that projects are delivered to achieve or better commercial goals and agreed targets, establishing a commercially aware and cost-conscious delivery
  • Take responsibility for managing the supervisors, application of the Firas Scheme Requirements, for the quality of the product carrying our appropriate levels of checking, rectifying and mitigating snags and defects, monitoring trends taking actions to continuously improve.
  • Management, escalation and mitigation of business and operational risk
  • Ensure the client satisfaction and overall customer service is best in class
  • Ensure all activities and operations are carried out in strict compliance with company and government procedure’s & regulations.
  • Reporting and escalation in line with company requirements
  • Develop teams to improve productivity, promote personal development and succession planning.
  • Ensure each site team is meeting targets safely on a monthly basis
  • Train and upskill to ensure relevant skills are met as well as training your team to ensure proficient growth for all colleagues and increasing productivity
Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the market.
  • Commercial awareness of all stages of the relevant engineering process, including estimating, buying schedules, valuation preparation, contract administration, Final Accounts
  • Project delivery of large and medium engineering projects
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Hold a professional qualification in a relevant field
  • Full clean driving license
