Overview

Are you the type who loves taking ownership and guiding projects from first order to final sign-off and seeing them delivered exactly as promised? Were working with a forward-thinking organisation delivering technical and operational projects across the UK and Europe. They’re now looking for a Contracts Manager ideally from a technical or engineering or similar industry to join their growing Operations team.

You’ll be the link between clients, suppliers, and internal teams, making sure every project runs to spec, on time, and within budget.

You’ll manage everything from procurement and materials flow to on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and communication are second to none.

What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day
  • Manage contracts end-to-end, from order receipt to invoicing
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients for seamless delivery
  • Oversee procurement and scheduling to keep projects on track
  • Supervise on-site activities and uphold safety and quality standards
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and proactive problem-solving
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in contracts or project management within a technical, engineering, or construction-related field
  • Strong understanding of budget control, scheduling, and risk management
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with project management tools
  • Full UK driving licence (nationwide travel required)
Qualifications & Desirable Skills
  • Technical or Engineering background (qualification or equivalent experience)
  • SMSTS / SSSTS or equivalent site management certification
  • IOSH or NEBOSH (advantageous)
  • Commercial understanding of contract terms and client relationships
