Are you a skilled leader with a passion for efficient project management? Wernick Construction is seeking a dedicated Contracts Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of site activities, ensuring projects are executed correctly, efficiently, and within budget.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • To raise monthly valuations final accounts and obtain payment certificates
  • Handle extensions to contract, liquidated damages and loss and expense claims
  • To keep contracts on programme
  • To maintain all office administration procedures and ensure that they are in accordance with Quality Assurance Procedures.
  • To, at all times, keep your knowledge of Buildings Regulations and contract procedures up to date. April 2015 Page 2 of 2
  • To ensure you maintain own level of education and qualifications appropriate for a Contracts Manager.
  • Submission of weekly Contracts Managers Report.
  • Maintain knowledge of forms of contract in common use
  • Make reports as may be required
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
  • To ensure that, at all times, contracts are run in an efficient and profitable manner
  • Maintain a good working relationship between the department and Client/other departments within the group.
  • To work within all Wernick policies – e.g. Environmental, Equal Opportunities etc.
Essential Criteria
  • SMSTS
  • Full drivers licence
  • CSCS Card (Black/White)
  • First Aid at Works
  • A working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
  • Must be prepared to stay away from home as and when required
  • IT Literate including Microsoft Project
