A contracting company in North East England is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple insurance claims and manage tradesmen. Responsibilities

• Overseeing the management of multiple insurance claims from start to completion
• Managing in-house tradesmen and subcontractors
• Programming, sequencing, and sourcing materials to effect successful repairs
• Controlling labour, subcontractors, and material costs
• Conducting site visits for meetings with policyholders and tradesmen
• Office based planning and communications

Qualifications

• Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role with a strong background in building trades
• Experience of insurance re-instatement would be a great advantage, however not essential and they provide an onboarding process and suitable training
• Excellent communication skills within the team environment
• Experience in a similar customer facing role within the building trade is advantageous
• Experience running a team of trades people would be an advantage
• H and S knowledge

Salary and Benefits

The role would be a perfect opportunity for a tradesperson to move from on the tools to in the office environment. In return, you will receive a company van, and a salary of up to GBP 40,000 per annum depending on experience (hourly paid based on 42.50 hour standard week 07:00–16:00, Monday to Friday; hours negotiable).
