Overview

We are a well-established and growing contractor specialising in the supply and installation of windows, doors, and glazing solutions across the commercial and social housing sectors. With a strong reputation for quality and service, we are looking to strengthen our operational team with the appointment of an experienced Contracts Manager (National).

The Role

As the Contracts Manager, you will manage a small team of projects managers who will oversee multiple projects from pre-start to final handover. Working closely with your team, clients, site teams, and internal departments, you will ensure the successful delivery of window and door installation contracts across a range of commercial and social housing schemes, primarily in the Midlands and South of England.

Responsibilities
  • The contracts manager will handle multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Liaise with main contractors, housing associations, and local authorities.
  • Coordinate site teams, project managers and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and company standards.
  • Attend site meetings and produce regular project updates and reports.
  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a contracts manager in the social housing or commercial construction sectors.
  • Strong background in fenestration or double glazing, ideally with knowledge of current building regulations and installation best practices.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple sites.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable but Not Essential
  • SMSTS / SSSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • NVQ in Construction Management or similar qualification.
