Job summary
Urenco is seeking a Contracts Delivery Manager to join our Capenhurst team. You will lead a Contract Management team supporting major programmes, developing contract strategies and ensuring contractual alignment with project delivery.
You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to protect Urenco's commercial position and support successful project outcomes, while fostering continuous improvement and governance across contracts.

Responsibilities
- Lead Contract Management Delivery for project portfolio.
- Develop contract management strategies and implementation plans.
- Ensure deployment of contract management resources across the portfolio.
- Support contracting strategies and ensure contractual requirements are integrated into delivery plans.
- Manage supplier and contractual relationships to support project performance and minimise risk.
- Protect Urenco's commercial position through effective contract management and governance.
- Lead portfolio-level reporting and forward resource planning.
- Monitor project and supply chain performance and drive corrective actions.
- Implement performance metrics and reporting to enable informed decisions.
- Promote best practice and standardisation across contracts.

We are seeking a Contracts Delivery Manager to join our team at our Capenhurst site. You will lead a Contract Management team supporting a portfolio of projects, major programmes, or expansion activities. You will be responsible for the development of contract management strategies, resource planning, and the delivery of high-quality contract management support across the project lifecycle.
Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers, you will ensure contractual requirements are aligned with project delivery objectives while protecting Urenco's commercial position and supporting successful project outcomes.

- Lead and develop a team of contract management professionals supporting project and programme delivery.
- Develop contract management strategies and implementation plans aligned with business and project objectives.
- Ensure effective deployment and utilisation of contract management resources across the portfolio.
- Support project teams in the development and delivery of contracting strategies.
- Ensure contractual requirements are effectively incorporated into project delivery plans.
- Manage supplier and contractual relationships to support project performance and minimise commercial risk.
- Protect Urenco's commercial position through effective contract management and governance.
- Lead portfolio-level reporting and forward resource planning activities.
- Monitor project and supply chain performance, identifying issues and supporting corrective actions.
- Implement performance metrics and reporting processes that support informed decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and knowledge sharing.
- Promote consistent application of contract management standards, policies, and procedures.
- Foster a proactive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, such as Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Professional accreditation in Contract Management, Procurement, or Project Management (e.g. RICS, CIPS, APM, NEC or equivalent) desirable.
- Experience in Commercial, Procurement, or Contract Management roles.
- Experience supporting major projects and programmes across sectors such as construction, energy, or nuclear.
- Demonstrable experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept development through to project handover.
- Strong understanding of contract management, commercial strategy, and supplier management.
- Ability to develop contract strategies and manage contractual risk.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Commercially aware and results-focused.
