Job description

Hourly Rate: £16.21 PAYE per hour

Location: Doxford Park

Working Hours: 36 hpw with flexible working (Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 2pm)

Job Type: Temporary (Up to 12 weeks with possible extension)

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and contractors to agree appointments on assets and schedule visits.
  • Support Contract Managers with key administrative activities for contractor delivery, focusing on specialist M&E works.
  • Raise and close work orders within Housing Management systems.
  • Ensure accurate updating of systems and databases with servicing and supporting information.
  • Create and update reports and works schedules to enable Contract Managers to monitor programme delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Highly developed administration skills with proficiency in all Microsoft packages and in-house systems.
  • Customer-focused approach with experience handling customers and contractors.
  • Background in a Social Housing environment.
  • Experience using Housing Management Systems (ideally MRI Housing and Asset).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities in sourcing external services and material solutions.
  • Awareness and risk assessment of queries and escalation.
  • Knowledge of procurement of goods and services and supplier chain protocols.
