Job Summary

This role is responsible for planning, contracting, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the company secures the best commercial conditions and remains competitive in the market.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets and operating margins.
  • Deliver override and marketing contribution targets.
  • Negotiate best rates with all suppliers to maintain competitiveness.
  • Meet contracting targets as defined by the Area Contracting Manager.
Key Challenges
  • Negotiating the most competitive deals while maximizing operating margin.
  • Managing supplier relationships in‑destination and remotely (phone/email).
  • Implementing product strategy in line with regional planning to achieve company objectives.
  • Staying informed on product and market developments in key destinations.
  • Maximizing override performance without exposing the business to high‑risk targets.
  • Identifying and negotiating marketing activities to optimize ROI.
  • Ensuring supplier service levels comply with company standards and regulations.
  • Communicating regularly with global sales teams on product updates.
  • Driving innovation to differentiate from competitors.
Skillset and Experience Required
  • Strong negotiation and contracting experience in the travel industry.
  • Commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of market trends and destination‑specific dynamics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
