About the Role

We’re seeking a Contract Specialist to review, provide comments and liaise with legal to ensure compliance with legal and company standards. If you’re detail‐oriented with strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of contract law, this is a great opportunity to make an impact! The successful candidate can be based in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle or Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including supplier agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and customer agreements.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and operational teams to support contract lifecycle management.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and amendments in the contract management system.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, and support resolution of disputes or issues.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract terms and risk mitigation.
  • Assist in developing and improving contract templates and processes.
  • Collaborate with Atlas legal for contract finalisations.
Skills and Experience (Essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in contract management, legal administration, or procurement.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the Rental, Mining, Construction or Heavy industries.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
