Job summary

Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) is seeking a talented Solutions Architect in Birmingham to lead the development of web products powered by Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will advise teams and clients on optimal architectural approaches for customer-facing platforms, guiding projects from discovery to delivery and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Ideal candidates will have strong Java/Spring/CSS/HTML/JavaScript skills, experience with microservices, and a proven track record in Agile

Qualifications

Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience with AEM or similar CMS platforms.
Strong understanding of lifecycle: requirements, planning, estimation, design.
Experience building and consuming microservices and integrating APIs.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to the business analyst by attending customer meetings and supporting solution design in discovery and ongoing projects.
Analyse and propose options for technical solutions based on business requirements.
Gather technical and non-functional requirements and advise on impacts to solutions.
Prepare high level designs to share with the customer.
Prepare technical documentation to guide development teams.
Support the project manager and Scrum Master with high level estimates.
Validate estimates with teams to ensure realism and time alignment.
Collaborate with PM and BA on roadmap planning.
Work with development teams during design and implementation phases.
Act as interface between development and third-party infra teams for analysis and triage.
Perform technical governance and code reviews.
