A newly acquired tech-driven business in the claims management space is looking for two experienced contract Software Engineers to join a growing agile development team. The company is investing heavily in its roadmap and platform evolution, and this is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful product work.

The Role

You’ll be working on a bespoke claims management platform that supports everything from claim validation to property surveying and repair coordination. The role involves backend development, API integration, and contributing to multiple internal tools and products. You’ll join a collaborative team of developers with a strong peer-review culture. There are no dedicated testers, so attention to code quality is essential.

Tech Stack

• OO PHP (7/8), bespoke MVC, Laravel, Symfony
• MySQL, Docker, AWS (EC2, RDS, Amplify)
• JavaScript, Bootstrap (minimal front‑end work)
• Testing: PHPUnit, Behat, TDD practices

• Security‑first mindset (OWASP principles, secure coding)
