Job summary

A leading global energy job board is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work on exciting projects including high-rise buildings and complex refurbishments. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 8-10 years of design experience, preferably with chartered status (MICE or MIStructE). The contract offers a rate of up to £50 per hour, for a duration of 6 months, starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of design experience in building structures.
• Solid design background in steel and reinforced concrete (RC).
• Chartered status preferred: MICE or MIStructE.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-rise buildings projects and complex refurb projects.
• Focus on delivery of engineering schemes with solid technical design.
• Handle projects in the UK and internationally; seismic design experience is advantageous.

• Major infrastructure schemes

• Hands-on technical design-based role, focusing on delivery of engineering schemes
• Solid design experience in steel and reinforced concrete (RC)
• Projects UK and internationally; any prior seismic design experience would be looked upon favourably (but not essential)
• Chartership for this role, either MICE or MIStructE
• Hybrid working from office and home
