Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project/Programme Manager with experience of delivering software development in an Agile environment. The successful candidate must have prior experience working to GDS standards and delivery of Software projects within the Public Sector. This role involves overseeing and co-ordinating a collection of projects (each with their own Agile Project Manager) and we are looking for someone with previous similar experience.

Our rapidly growing team works with Public Sector organisations to deliver solutions and applications that drive value and engage customers using Microsoft technology, including D365 and Power Apps.

The primary focus of this role is the oversight of multiple interconnected software development projects. It is ideally suited to a detail-oriented software project or programme manager who thrives in both technical and strategic environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable working at requirements level to support decision-making, engage with developers to resolve technical blockers, and contribute to recommending solutions. Equally, they must be able to take a high-level view - collating project statuses, identifying risks and dependencies, and making informed recommendations to senior stakeholders. The role includes project oversight, C-suite reporting and interaction, team management, and removing blockers. The successful candidate will be working closely with our teams and customer to deliver successful outcomes.

The role needs to be UK based with occasional visits to the customer site in London.

Mission

Your mission will be to deliver a successful public service into live operation within the timetable set out by the Client. You will be expected to ensure successful delivery of the projects within the contracted specification, timescales and financial limits, liaising and reporting to the COO and customer executives. You will work alongside the other Agile Project Managers and lead technical resource to ensure a successful project delivery.

All our projects are delivered in an Agile manner, and you will work in a supportive manner with the teams, supporting the Project Managers and removing impediments.
