Job summary

A leading global defense contractor is seeking a Security Engineer (Contractor) in the UK. This role involves working with the Technical Project Managers to create essential security deliverables and providing security authority to ensure compliance with architectural frameworks like ISO27001 and IS1&2. Ideal candidates will have a defence background and experience with complex systems throughout project lifecycles, ensuring security designs are duly accredited and supported. This position requires obtaining UK Security clearance and undertaking relevant Right to work checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in security frameworks like ISO27001, IS1&2, and SANS Institute Framework.
• Proven track record in large, complex security systems.
• Ability to achieve security accreditation for designs.

Responsibilities

• Create security deliverables for projects with PMs and Design Team.
• Provide security authority to project decisions.
• Support project-level security documentation generation.
