Job summary

A leading manufacturing company based in North Somerset is seeking an experienced Production Planner for a contract role. The position focuses on ensuring timely delivery and quality of customer systems by managing material flow and working closely with production teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in production planning, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of ERP systems. This is initially a 6-month contract with high potential for extension, offering a competitive rate of £17.00 – £19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experienced in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent understanding of ERP systems and material flow management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders and component shortages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer systems are built and delivered on time.
• Manage material flow through the factory in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and coordinate any required rework.
