Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a Payroll Officer for a contract role. The ideal candidate will check and enter timesheets, run payroll reports, and handle payroll queries. This position offers a competitive pay of GBP13 – GBP18 per hour and the possibility to extend or transition to a permanent role. The work will be based in Whiteley, requiring 5 days in the office with some remote flexibility after 3 months.

Qualifications

• Experience with Contractor payroll is highly advantageous.
• Experience with CIS is beneficial.
• Strong data entry skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Checking and entering timesheets and expenses.
• Running and sending out reports.
• Entering P45/New Starter Checklists and other tax details.
• Ensuring correct paperwork has been received.
• Dealing with payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders.
