A consultancy in maintenance engineering is seeking a contract Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. The successful candidate will have experience in the food industry and FMGC, possess PLC programming skills, and be capable of quick responses to breakdowns. This role involves working on food process machinery and ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
Location: West London
outside or inside dependant on CEST IR35 Pay: £39.00
Schedule: 4 on 4 off alternating days and nights
As a contract Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be a multi‑skilled engineer with an electrical bias. The right candidate will be from a food background and have FMGC experience. You will be a highly motivated individual and able to react quickly to breakdowns. You must also have PLC programming skills as you will work on a project to upgrade machines.
As a contract Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be working within a team responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance on new and existing equipment. You will be working on food process machinery, dealing with fault finding on equipment such as packaging, conveyors, wrappers, molders, robots, etc. You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical breakdowns and PPMS. This is a fast environment and a continuous process, so you need to be able to think on your feet and ensure the process is always at optimal output level.
