Job summary

A leading technology manufacturer in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer with strong skills in SolidWorks for a high-profile project. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week onsite and involves creating accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings, focusing on plastic injection moulded and sheet metal components. Ideal candidates should possess experience in designing jigs and fixtures, along with the ability to reverse engineer parts. This position has an OUTSIDE IR35 determination, allowing for candidates to work through their own PSC.

The Redline Group is working with a leading technology manufacturer to assist in the search for a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer – Solidworks, to support a high–profile project at their facility in Cambridgeshire.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite, and the client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
