Qualifications

• Degree-level education, ideally in an environmental discipline.
• IOSH Safety for Managers with solid knowledge of environmental and H&S legislation.
• Experience managing a PFI contract or similar, preferably within a local authority setting.
• Ability to manage, interpret and integrate data through BI systems (desirable).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage and drive high-performing operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the contractual relationship of the West Sussex County Council (WSCC) Recycling Waste handling Contract.
• Contract management, including strategic, operational, and compliance elements.
• Preparation and submission of monthly reports to WSCC.
• Create and sustain a positive working relationship with WSCC.
• Client liaison to ensure all operational and contractual obligations are met.
• Main contact for WSCC Contract managers on all issues.
• Maintain contractual records and documentation at all times.
