Portakabin Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to lead major projects across the GB Healthcare team and nationwide. The role requires strong delivery skills, risk management and the ability to coordinate diverse teams while maintaining customer satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, ensure contractual compliance, and report progress to stakeholders. A degree or equivalent experience plus project management capability is required; a company car and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering large, complex construction or modular projects.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery processes and methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, costs and final accounts.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership for delivering large or complex contracts on time, to budget and to specification.
• Act as SME in project delivery and share best practices with the team.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to meet contract delivery objectives.
• Maintain margins and cash flow through planning, budgeting and risk control.
• Produce regular stakeholder reports with progress against programme and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain an up-to-date risk register.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms; manage variations and disputes.
• Build strong customer relationships; be the main contact for contracts.
• Support bid and pre-construction activity with operational input.
• Provide coaching and line management where applicable for contract team.
