Job Title: Contract Manager
Location: Commercial Retail Site - Leicester
Package: Up to £55,000 - £60,000

The Role

We are looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to take responsibility for all facilities management operations at a high-profile commercial retail site in Leicester. This role will be accountable for planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive maintenance, compliance, and day-to-day operational management, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of engineers, ensuring effective service delivery and performance.
• Oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Drive compliance with statutory, contractual, and health & safety obligations.
• Manage budgets and reporting in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational performance.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record as a Contract Manager (or similar leadership role) in facilities management or building services.
• Strong technical knowledge of PPMs, reactive maintenance, and site operations.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness.
• Ability to deliver high standards of service in a client-facing environment.
