  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and health & safety requirements.

Overview

Contract Manager - 6-Month Contract. £450 per day (Inside IR35) | Immediate Start | North West England. A fantastic interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract Manager to join a major social housing provider with a strong identity in the North West, delivering key investment programmes across their housing portfolio. You will be working through a trusted and established consultancy to lead a team of Contract Managers and a Customer Liaison Officer to ensure effective delivery, compliance and performance of social housing asset investment programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Contract Managers and Customer Liaison Officers.
  • Oversee procurement, mobilisation, and ongoing management of major investment contracts.
  • Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and compliance obligations.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and ensure value for money delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and health & safety requirements, including CDM and Building Safety Act.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing social housing investment or asset contracts.
  • Strong leadership and performance management skills.
  • Excellent financial control, contract management, and stakeholder communication abilities.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. RICS, CIH Level 4+) or substantial equivalent experience.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

This is a 6-month contract offering an excellent day rate of £450 per day, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
