The Company

Sacco Mann is working with a truly entrepreneurial, privately-owned and multi‑divisional organisation based in the heart of the East Midlands. Their interests include Property & Construction, Strategic Land, Renewable Energy, Waste and R&D, with the legal department offering group-wide advice.

The role

There now exists an opportunity for an experienced commercial litigator to join the small but integral In‑house team, working alongside the GC, advising on a range of cases, both historic/legacy and new.

Responsibilities

Offering a range of responsibilities, this person will be able to handle some of the cases directly, whilst project managing and liaising with key external contacts, ensuring best practice, efficiency, and value.

The person

You’re likely to have at least 5 years PQE gained in commercial litigation and will be organised, tenacious and have an eye for detail. Communication skills are essential as this is a fast‑moving and multi‑disciplined organisation with the CEO being very hands‑on. Above all, you’ll have a straightforward approach to problem solving and are likely to be someone who thrives in taking a lead – liaising with key stakeholders.

The Package

A competitive salary is on offer and the role could be offered on a part time basis, though some weekly presence in their offices in Lincolnshire is expected (x2‑3 days if full time). Candidates in Peterborough, Nottingham, Grantham, Stamford and Boston are very much within a reasonable commute.
